A man with no need for an introduction, Mike Dirnt has been rocking punk rock crowds with his band, Green Day, since 1987. With the release of the epic, award-winning album “Dookie” in 1994, Green Day became one of the first punk rock bands to capture the attention of the mainstream. Green Day’s music defined the sound of a generation and their success paved the way for the poularity of punk rock bands today. Their second to last album, “American Idiot” was an international sensation, selling over 15 million copies worldwide and winning Grammys for both Best Rock Album and Best Album of the Year. Mike is obviously a busy guy, whether on stage, or running through an airport, he spends a lot of time on his feet. He collaborated with the Macbeth team to create a comfortable, yet stylish black sneaker that he could wear onstage, on the red carpet, or to grab a cup of coffee.
