We at Macbeth are psyched to announce that close to 500 bands have entered our Groezrock 2012 competition!

On February the 21st we will announce which 20 bands have been selected by our professional jury for part two of the competition for the chance to play at Groezrock 2012.
 
These 20 bands enter into popular vote competition in which they will have to get as many people as possible to vote for them. The more votes, the more chance you have of playing the Macbeth stage!
 
On the 10th of March Macbeth will announce the 10 bands that received the most votes and thus qualify for a spot on the Macbeth stage at Groezrock 2012.

In the meantime we would like to share a little secret…
We have invited 2 bands as special guests. They are non-less than our dear friends from We Are The Ocean & The Swellers.
Besides that our first wildcard went to the UK band Exile Parade “Britpop with a punkrock attitude!”.
 
There is one wildcard left and the winner of it will be announced on the 10th of March together with the 10 bands that will compete for a chance to play at the Macbeth stage at Groezrock 2012.
