For this weeks Friday blog we are looking at Raymond Pettibon's current solo exhibiton at the Regen Projects Gallery in Venice Beach.

Raymond Pettibon is probably best known for coming up with Black Flag's iconic four bar logo. During the 80's he worked heavily in the hardcore scene creating artwork for Black Flag and SST Records and since then has become a well known figure in contempory art.

The exhibit features new works in which the subject matter is a continuation of the artist’s oeuvre: the landscape of war, politics, popular culture, art, literature, sports, religion, and sexuality.
