The weekend...

On Saturday we headed up to LA for a screening of Angels & Airwaves' movie Love, in Santa Monica. It's amazing to see this project come together and how an independent film can look as stunning as any big budget Hollywood blockbuster. If you're a fan of Angels & Airwaves or just a fan of films and art in general, Love is definitely a must see. Visit the angelsandairwaves.com for more info on the movie and the bands new record Love Pt 2. If you haven't seen the trailer before, here it is.

After the screening we headed to Ray Caesar's new exhibition A Dangerous Inclination at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City. The detail and lighting in these haunting images is truely incredible, if you live in the area make sure you check it out, click here for more info. We then went off to MOCA before it shut and before heading back down to San Diego.

On Sunday, a couple of us headed to SOMA to catch Four Years Strong, Gallows, Title Fight, The Swellers and Sharks on the AP Fall tour. Title Fight are such an exciting young band that you should keep an eye on and try to catch live because they always put on a great show. It was rad to see Gallows with their new frontman Wade who put on a rad show throwing himself into the crowd. Nick from The Swellers was showing some love for Macbeth, repping our Coastal tee. This tour has an awesome line up, make sure you check it out when it's in your town!
